I am a licensed clinical psychologist who believes in the healing power of relationship, whether it be in therapy, with oneself, or with others. In developing more compassionate, authentic relationships, individuals are able to develop insight, cultivate meaningful change, and live a more fulfilling life. I approach treatment collaboratively from a relational framework and integrate cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and dynamic approaches in a supportive and challenging environment. My clients describe me as warm, actively engaged, nonjudgmental, and personable.
I am a trained generalist and possesses specific experience and expertise in working across the spectrum of gender and sexual identities (LGBTQ+, kink and poly-aware), anxiety disorders, undergraduate and graduate students, body image concerns, multicultural identity development, relationships, grief and loss, adult children of alcoholics (ACOA), and relational trauma.
Prior to working with Beth Gadomski, I trained and worked at universities throughout the country including Northwestern, Emory, Illinois Tech and Stanford. I most recently worked at IntraSpectrum Counseling, an LGBTQ+, poly and kink-affirming group practice in Chicago. I hold a doctorate in psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
